I was born in Tennessee, but have lived in Florida since I was 16 months old. I graduated from Charlotte High School and have a BS degree in criminology from Florida Southern College. After my two children entered elementary school I took lots of education courses, and ended up home schooling my daughter from 6-12 grade. Now I am helping her home school my 8 yr old grandson.

My first job was putting up and taking down our American flag in my neighborhood. I was paid .50 a week. LOL I loved it and felt honored to be able to do this. I have worked in hospitality, marketing, banking, substitute teacher, for our sheriff's department and was an executive secretary for my church, to name a few. I also owned a craft store.

I love my 2 grandchildren, spending time with family, gardening, being on the water, working sudoku puzzles, and naps.
