0 Problems Faced by Seniors with Care Homes

With the growing age of seniors, their care requires proper consideration. The present generation adopts the option of Care Homes. They loved their elders very much and hence want to care them properly. But there are so many problems occurring with such care. I will discuss them here.

There might be problem regarding food. The staff cooks poor quality food. It has lack of calories. Sometimes the breakfast and lunch was not served at proper time. While in other cases, either the gap between the breakfast and lunch was too long or it was too short. There should be proper gap between the timings of diet since our stomach requires proper time to digest it. Improper timings and irregular diet may cause several digestion related problems. This also reduces the weight of the senior very fast.

The senior got bore is another problem. During selection they agreed to help the seniors in exercise and will organize some activities to entertain them like singing songs and quiz organization. But after selection they do not give them proper time and the aged got bore daily.

The cleanliness is another major trouble for seniors. The person selected for their care does not clean their room, bed and clothes regularly. They clean their room either once a week or with the gap of a day. They also do not change their clothes. Such behavior causes hygienic diseases.

The staff does not talk to seniors politely. It hurts them. They want love and like polite nature. This problem is somewhat different. It might also occur due to rude behavior of the senior. The love and respect of family members and relatives helps seniors to live their life happily and also reduces their remedies.

In nursing care, the poor quality of services is provided that results in weight loss, increasing stress and strain and mental problems. This sometimes led to their death or serious injury. Sometimes they give them wrong Medicaid services.

The young generation adopts these services to care their seniors. As they have lack of time or they have busy schedule, they do not want that their loved ones suffer for that. But such low quality services are increasing their tension. They prefer to hire a small child who used to stay at their home and in return they provide them food, study and clothes. Such services are breaking their trust. So proper action is required against such low quality facilities and the care for seniors needs proper consideration.
