0 Graco Car Seats - The Choices

Every parent's major concern is with the safety of their child and one aspect of this is choosing a suitable restraint when travelling in the car. Graco car seats offer all sorts of choices for babies and toddlers, graduating from a rear facing baby seat to a backless booster seat for the older child and of course they are all built to the highest safety standards, but what else do they have to offer the discerning parent?

Starting with baby seats; these are all rear facing as recommended by road safety organisations. Many have removable baby inserts, making them suitable for older children as well as head supports. Baby's weight can be as little as 4 pounds up to 40 pounds. The baby seats mostly have a base which stays in the car and are designed to be easy to install and easy to get baby in and out.

You have a choice of colours from black and grey to pink and beige and from blue and beige to green and grey.

Once removed from the car, these seats for infants will fit any Graco stroller base, so you don't have to carry a separate stroller when you're out in the car.

Some of these rear facing baby seats convert to front facing seats suitable for children up to 65 pounds in weight but after that, you'll need a separate booster seat.

Graco produce a couple of high backed booster seats for bigger kids; the features are the same but one is a bright pink especially for the girls. These are suitable for 3 to 10 year olds from 30 to 100 pounds and convert to backless boosters. The head support is adjustable as is the height of the armrests.

Alternatively, once your child is too big for a baby seat, you'll only need one more as Graco car seats also include a 3-in-1 variety which will last from one year onwards for weights 20 to 65 pounds. Once your child exceeds 65 pounds, the seat converts to a high backed booster seat and then a backless booster seat for a toddler of up to 100 pounds.

There are plenty of choices in Graco car seats, both in style and colour but all are side impact tested and padded with energy absorbing foam for the ultimate in comfort and safety. Baby seats and convertibles are all fitted with a five point front adjusting harness making it easy to strap the child in place.
