0 How to choose a safe diaper detergent

When choosing detergent to wash your baby's diapers it is very important to research and understand how a detergent will affect your diapers. The majority of today's diapers are made with a PUL (polyurethane laminated fabric) or other type of leek proof fabric. These types of fabrics are more susceptible to detergent build up. When build up occurs the diaper then looses its ability to be leek proof. When choosing detergent for your diapers you want to look for detergent that will completely rinse out and not leave behind a residue. Detergents that contain fragrance or sent, brightening agents and fabric softeners all create build up on your diapers. Finding detergent to wash your cloth diapers can sometimes be overwhelming or hard to figure out. I have made a list of safe detergents for cloth diapers and a list that is not safe for cloth diapers.
